About Paddling Paws
Hi, I’m Madi, the owner and therapist behind Paddling Paws Canine Hydrotherapy.
I’ve been working in canine rehabilitation for over five years, and am incredibly passionate about helping dogs move more comfortably, confidently and functionally throughout every stage of life.
Multimodal. At Paddling Paws, I take a hands-on, individualised approach to every dog. Sessions may incorporate underwater treadmill therapy, remedial massage, laser therapy and vibration therapy, depending on the dog’s needs and veterinary recommendations.
Collaborative. I work closely with owners and their veterinary teams to support dogs recovering from injury or surgery, managing ongoing conditions, maintaining mobility as they age, or simply working towards a better quality of life.
All personalities welcome. Every animal deserves access to rehabilitation regardless of their temperament, background or history. I aim to create a calm and positive environment where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed. I understand that not every dog walks through the door confident or comfortable with new people and experiences. I will always take the time to build trust at their own pace, and tailor treatments accordingly.
My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based rehabilitation tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Whether your dog is recovering from an injury or surgery, managing an ongoing condition or simply getting older, we can work together to help maintain their mobility and make everyday life a little easier.
